White, Cougars place 2nd in Lynchburg
Asheville High senior Daisaun White earned MVP honors Saturday at the Liberty High School Christmas Invitational indoor track meet in Lynchburg, Va. White won the triple jump with a leap of 45 feet, 9.5 inches and also placed second in the long jump (21-7). As a team, the Cougars (38.5 points) were second to Knightsdale, who scored 41.5 points. via of Asheville Citizen-Times
